<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Birmingham.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful qualifying period.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Class 1 Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of palletised goods.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing deliveries and collections to customer locations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling palletised goods using a tail lift and pump truck where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting customers with deliveries where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing delivery paperwork and digital delivery records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complying with all drivers' hours, tachograph and company procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.What We're Offering</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will need:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A professional attitude and excellent timekeeping</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good customer service skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with palletised deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using a tail lift and pump truck is advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 penalty points (some endorsements may not be accepted)All driver documentation and a DVLA licence check will be completed before you start.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">First Shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drivers will complete a short induction before their first shift, covering the digital delivery system, Safe Systems of Work, tail lift operation and a brief tachograph test.</p>
