Class 1 Night Trunk Driver ? immediate start

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team based in Castle Vale, Birmingham. This Permanent role involves supporting collections from the Birmingham branch and/or local customers and delivering them to the Birmingham and Coventry Palletline HUBS</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Permanent role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Night Trunk Driver  – immediate start. The first two or three days you will spend with one of our quality, experienced drivers for full on-the-job training, support loading/ unloading processes, the use of the pump-trucks and handheld scanners, yard procedures, and H&S sign-off</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£17.95 per hour, paid weekly (minimum of 46.25 paid hours guaranteed per week), with overtime paid at £18.95 per hour after 46.25 hours are worked.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Multidrop deliveries, over two trips and collections planned where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver, you will need:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night trunking from our yard in Castle Vale to the Birmingham and Coventry HUBS</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night trunking from some of our local customers in Birmingham to the Birmingham and Coventry HUBS</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must have experience in operating double-deck trailers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will tip at the HUB and reload for the yard, and must be able to use/ pull a double-deck trailer curtain</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Some drop and swap trailers are required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">There is some downtime at the HUBS in the small hours of the night once tipped and waiting to load</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday nights</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be over the Age of 23 (based on experience)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have no more than 6 points</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have had an HGV Licence for more than 2 years</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility to operational needs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start times are either from 16:00 to 18:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full training provided</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">All new drivers are paired up with one of our experienced drivers for on-the-job training for 2/3 shifts.</p>
