Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Full time or part time available, start times ranging from 11pm-1am</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· (PAYE): £14.43 p/h from 10pm onwards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· (ROLLEDUP) £16.16 (with holiday pay).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Barnsley, S74.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Ongoing.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Trunking, long distance driving between depots. No multidrop, no handball.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.</p>
