Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Gi Group are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (New passes are accepted and welcomed) to work for one of the UK's biggest Parcel delivery companies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a HGV Class 2 Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be driving the company vehicle safely, load, transport and deliver parcels and packages to depots, hubs and customers.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To drive / operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and legal</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements and as required by the company in accordance with the valid licence, experience and training for that vehicle / equipment</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tipping of vehicle at designated and approved recycling & refuse facilities, to load and unload waste materials in accordance with the company's policy, procedures, training and legal</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Undertake any training / instruction required to carry out these duties and or deemed necessary to fulfil the role (Including Driver Induction)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including daily vehicle checks on any vehicle driven</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To deal with colleagues, customers and other personnel in a polite, responsible and professional manner</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To comply with all reporting procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must hold a valid Category C licence (Class 2), Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to use mobile IT equipment, follow reporting procedures, complete daily paperwork and electronic records accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate clearly with supervisors, controllers, colleagues, customers and members of the public</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of safe and legal HGV driving, including Working Time</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements when loading, transporting, unloading and tipping waste and recycling materials.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of, or ability to undertake, physical outdoor work including moving bins, handling recycling containers and working in all weather conditions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of waste, recycling, cleansing or commercial collections operations is desirable.</p>
