A leading UK property and investment group is seeking a property litigator to join its legal team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal support to a substantial residential leasehold property management business, working closely with the Head of Legal and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role will have a particular focus on property management, building safety and property litigation, with exposure to complex and commercially significant matters across England and Wales.

The Role

• Advising on building safety and property management matters, both contentious and non-contentious
• Investigating complex leasehold and freehold title structures
• Drafting, reviewing, amending and proofreading legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, correspondence and external advice
• Assisting with the preparation of case files (where appropriate), court and tribunal filings, and legal briefs
• Drafting, reviewing and amending contracts, pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents
• Assisting with the preparation of case files, court and tribunal documentation and legal briefs

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years' PQE as a Solicitor, with experience in property litigation gained in private practice or in-house
• Strong experience in residential property law, including complex leasehold and freehold title investigations
• Experience of property disputes and/or building safety matters
• County Court and First‑tier Tribunal matters
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• The Building Safety Act 2022 knowledge
