<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Letchworth, delivering sheets of metal to customers and sites across the local and surrounding areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a Monday to Friday role, offering regular hours and no weekend work. The job is straightforward and well suited to a driver looking for consistent weekday work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivering sheets of metal to customers and various sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and securing loads safely before leaving the yard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using straps and appropriate securing equipment to safely secure metal sheets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out basic vehicle checks before and after shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a professional and courteous approach with customers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all relevant road safety, transport and company procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting any vehicle or load-related issues to management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Hours & Pay</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Approximately 8 hours per day</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£17.50 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Regular daytime work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No weekend work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous Class 2 driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with flatbed vehicles is preferred</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience securing loads with straps is an advantage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of load safety and securing procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and professional</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks</p>
