<p class="text-muted mb-3">Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy local authority waste collection team in Worksop.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Looking for regular weekday work, local routes and no nights away? This could be the opportunity for you! You'll drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle and help with loading duties when required, supporting the team to complete daily waste collections safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on local routes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with collecting and loading domestic and commercial waste</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work alongside loaders and the wider collection team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow road safety and Health & Safety procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide a professional, courteous service to the public</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out manual handling and outdoor duties in all weather conditions</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with physical work and loading duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and a good team player</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in refuse collection, waste management, recycling or council driving is beneficial but not essential.</p>
