Position: Class 2 Driver (C)
Shift: Days / Backshift – Monday to Friday
Pay: £16.81 per hour PAYE inc. holiday pay
Overtime: £22.59 per hour after 42 hours
We are currently recruiting Class 2 (C) Drivers to join our team working on behalf of our client in Bedford .
The role involves collecting parcels from Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and delivering them to National Distribution Centres (NDCs) .
The Role- RDC to NDC trunking work
- Predominantly cage work
- Mainly palletised and caged loads
- Very minimal handball
- Regular Monday to Friday work
- Reliable, ongoing work available
- Start times between 08:00 and 11:00
- Standard rate: £16.81 per hour
- Overtime after 42 hours: £22.59 per hour
- Minimum 2 years' Class 2 (C) driving experience
- Must be 25+ years old for insurance purposes
- Valid UK Class 2 driving licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good driving record and professional attitude
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers looking for consistent Monday-Friday work , with cage-based loading and minimal handball .
