Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the?South Kirby?area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00pm start ( approximately 8-hour shifts on average) with occasional weekend availability.
Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour PAYE (Mon- Fri), £15.75 per hour PAYE (Sat), £21.00 (Sun)

The role:
· Collecting nappy waste from various healthcare facilities.?
· Prepare the small base truck for daily operations.
· Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.
· Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.
· Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.
· Depending on the volume, complete 25 to 60 collections during your shift.
· Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves finding and collecting the bins and at times brin g ing them to the lorry to lift.?
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
· Have at least 2 year s of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
. Have an in date enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.?
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to our waste management processes.
· Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
· Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
· Physical fitness and capability to handle waste containers. xrnqpay
