Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Eastleigh area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00pm starts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay Rate: £17.35 per hour PAYE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: SO21 1WP</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Collect clinical waste from various healthcare facilities, including care homes and hospitals.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare the vehicle for daily operations.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Depending on the volume, complete 35 to 60 collections during your shift.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have at least 2 years experience driving the relevant vehicle.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full understanding of WTD legislation.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Willingness to learn and adapt to our waste management processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.</p>
