Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tradebe is looking for a Class 2 Driver (3 Shift) to join the team at our Swindon site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for the collection of clinical waste from customer sites such as acute hospitals and transfer stations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift Details</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start Time: 1pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift Length: 12 hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pattern: Rotating shift pattern</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Availability: Includes weekdays and weekends as part of the rotation (1 in 3 weekends)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main Responsibilties:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely collect and transport customers' waste in a professional manner, following all Road Laws, the Highway Code and ADR regulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load and unload waste containers safely, ensuring correct segregation and secure loads at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete all required paperwork and PDA entries accurately and submit them at the end of the shift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, reporting any defects, issues, delays or non-conformities to the line manager.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain a clean, tidy and fuelled vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adhere to all site rules and wear the required PPE and correct uniform at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate professionally with customers and work effectively as part of the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Do you have what it takes?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Other Essential Skills:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Good Customer relations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· C+E or C Licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Driver qualification card (CPC).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Understanding of EU Driver & Working time Laws.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable Skills:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· ADR qualified</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Experience in handling Waste (Clinical & Hazardous desirable).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Use of hand held devices i.e. PDA.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Good knowledge Road Traffic Laws.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Good knowledge of the waste industry (Clinical & Hazardous waste desirable).</p>
