HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)

Chesterfield | £17.11 per hour | £25.66 overtime | Immediate Starts available

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established business based in the Chesterfield area.

Shifts will be between Monday – Friday, starting at either 06:00am or 07:00am.

The Role:

Driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections

Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

Loading and unloading where required

Completing delivery paperwork accurately

Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

Following driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations

The Candidate:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous Class 2 driving experience

Maximum 3 penalty points preferred

Manual driving experience

Good geographical knowledge

Reliable, punctual and professional

Strong understanding of road safety and H&S

The Benefits:

£17.11 per hour

£25.66 per hour overtime after 36 hours

Monday to Friday

06:00am or 7:00am starts

Weekly pay

Temporary assignment
