Job Description & Overview

CERN is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing more efficient SRF cavities for future accelerators. You will design, fabricate, commission and operate PVD coating equipment and related machinery at CERN, contributing to coating improvements and process control.

Responsibilities include designing components with 3D CAD, assembling and testing coating systems, and specifying mechanical modifications to optimize UHV operations.
