Class 2 Waste Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently seeking to recruit HGV C Waste Drivers to work with our Client on a temporary ongoing basis. Permanent opportunites available for the right Candidates.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job purpose:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsible for a small team collecting waste across different types of waste collection, including the weekly food waste collection service, as part of the wider waste management services we provide. To ensure tasks and paperwork are completed in a professional manner to the highest standards of safety and customer service. The postholder may also be required to undertake and support other duties and responsibilities as and when required to meet operational demands and service needs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main duties and responsibilities:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To drive waste collection vehicles, appropriate to the driving license held; C license required as a minimum.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To undertake and support the collection of food waste, refuse, dry recycling, cardboard, garden waste and any other waste collections operated by the service.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To undertake all CPC</span></li>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements necessary to maintain required driving qualifications, including complying with all traffic laws, legislation and safe operating procedures.</h5>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensure safe operating practices are adhered to by you and others under your supervision.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To record and report any incidents such as waste not presented using a handheld device (iPad or similar).</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To provide operational flexibility by undertaking other duties appropriate to, or below, the grading of the post as and when required to support service delivery.</span></li>
