Commercial Finance Analyst

Rutherford Cross is working with a growing and forward-thinking business to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into a key role within the finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making across a broad range of operational and commercial areas. This role would suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or an experienced analyst looking to progress their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Role: Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include: Preparing and analysing monthly management information and KPI reporting Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions Delivering insight into business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities Partnering with operational teams to challenge performance and improve profitability Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts activities Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting tools Assisting with business cases, investment appraisals and ad-hoc commercial analysis About You: Experience within a finance, accounting or analytical role Studying towards ACCA / CIMA Strong Excel and data analysis skills Experience preparing management information and interpreting financial data Commercially minded with excellent problem-solving abilities Confident communicating with stakeholders across different levels of the business Naturally inquisitive with a proactive approach to improving processes and performance What's on Offer: Competitive salary Study support and structured career development Exposure to senior leadership and business decision-making Opportunity to progress towards Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting Flexible and supportive working environment For more information on the role, please contact Ally Deas at Rutherford Cross.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
