The Role

Our tutors act as coaches and mentors, not just instructors, supporting each learner's progress with care and purpose.

As a tutor,you'llplay a key role in every child's learning journey by :

Deliveringlessonsthatlast :Using our smart learning tool, Compass,you'lldeliver tailored sessions where youfacilitatelearning through questioning,scaffoldingand stretching.

Buildingmeaningfulrelationships :With a 1:6 ratio,you'llget to know each child and create a safe, inspiring environment where they can take risks and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Drivingacademicprogress :Support members as they work through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation, celebrating milestones and successes along the way.

You'llthrive as an Explore Learning tutor if you :

• Are confident leading sessions with small groups (1:6), inspiring children to engage in their learning, using positive behaviour management strategies, and consistently prioritising their safety and wellbeing.

• Feel comfortable supporting children aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE content.

• Are committed to building meaningful, long-term relationships, providing the consistency and stability that helps children thrive.
