<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are recruiting for an established logistics and freight business that is looking for an experienced Container Operations Manager to take responsibility for its container operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role - Container Operations Manager</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Run the day-to-day FCL / container operation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage container movements from collection through to delivery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan and coordinate vehicles, drivers and jobs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with ports, depots, hauliers and customers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deal with any operational issues as they arise</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor costs and keep the operation running efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use TOPS to manage container movements</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Help improve processes and the way the operation runs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take responsibility for the overall performance of the FCL operation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide support outside normal hours when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For - Container Operations Manager</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in container haulage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing or coordinating container movements</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of TOPS</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident dealing with customers, hauliers, ports and depots</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to take ownership and make decisions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Organised and commercially minded</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Someone who can manage the operation independently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Additional Opportunity - Container Operations Manager</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The business is open to discussing a profit share for someone who can bring existing customers or new business</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£43,000, depending on experience</p>
