We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major CAT B fit-out project in Manchester on behalf of a well-established commercial interiors contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a key phase of works within a high-profile 12-storey commercial building , overseeing a two-floor fit-out project with a programme duration of approximately 22 weeks .

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all site activities throughout the CAT B fit-out programme
• Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
• Overseeing delivery and installation of stud and glazed partition systems
• Managing material deliveries and site logistics
• Monitoring health & safety compliance across the project
• Managing T-points and site access procedures
• Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings
• Maintaining programme deadlines and quality standards
• Ensuring site documentation is kept up to date

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
• Current SC Clearance (Security Clearance) - this is essential and applications without active clearance cannot be considered
• Experience delivering CAT B office fit-out schemes
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and site management practices
• Experience coordinating multiple trades within occupied or live commercial environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Required Qualifications

• SMSTS
• Black CSCS Card
• Relevant Health & Safety certification

• Location: First Street, Manchester (M15)
• Start Date: Monday 26th October 2026
• Duration: 22 Weeks
• Rate: Up to £1,500 per week
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
