We are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in the west Lancashire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service, account coordination and order processing experience who enjoys working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role will see you acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of customers, managing the order process from initial enquiry through to delivery and ensuring customers receive a high level of service throughout.

The Role

• Managing customer accounts and acting as a main point of contact
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinating customer

requirements with internal departments

• Monitoring orders and ensuring deliveries are made within agreed timescales
• Liaising with logistics, planning, sales and distribution teams
• Handling customer queries, delivery issues, complaints and claims
• Maintaining accurate customer and delivery information
• Providing regular updates to customers regarding order and delivery status
• Producing relevant order and claims documentation
• Identifying issues quickly and ensuring they are resolved efficiently
• Supporting strong ongoing relationships with customers

We are looking for someone who has experience within a customer service, order management or account coordination role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution or similar environment.

You will need:

• Previous customer service or customer account experience
• Strong order processing / order management experience
• Experience using SAP is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload
• Confidence liaising with customers and internal departments
• A proactive approach to resolving customer and delivery issues
• Strong organisational skills
