Customer Support Executive

A global leader in high-quality, safety-critical products is looking for someone to join the UK based sales support & customer service team with a focus on supporting customers in the China & SEA region.

What the Customer Service / Customer Support Executive – Mandarin role involves:

Following changes to its international operating model, the business is expanding its UK-based support for customers across China and Southeast Asia. Sales in China are growing rapidly with significant year-on-year growth. The volume of customer communication and day-to-day support has become too demanding to absorb within the existing team, so the business needs a dedicated UK-based person to provide customer support to the China and Southeast Asia regions in Mandarin. Working in a fast paced and regularly changing environment you will work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Customers, and internal UK departments to resolve issues and keep orders moving. Regular overseas travel is not expected; travel would be occasional at most.

Requirements of the Customer Support Executive - Mandarin

• Strong Mandarin language skills - native & fluent in Mandarin.
• A good understanding of Chinese culture and business expectations.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Strong English communication skills and understanding of UK business culture, as much of the role involves internal stakeholder coordination.
• Able to work at pace, manage changing priorities and respond quickly to demanding customer sales

requirements.

• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

Non-essential Requirements of the Customer Support Executive - Mandarin

• Manufacturing experience is useful but not essential
• Experience providing excellent Customer service in an international import / export environment nice but not essential
