<p class="text-muted mb-3">My client is looking for an experienced Customs Operations Supervisor to join their Feltham Branch. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for contract compliance, customer service and the day-to-day operations of nominated customer accounts. The role involves working closely with customers and internal branch teams and may include the supervision of dedicated customer teams or departments. You will support the Account Manager with the development of nominated customers, helping to deliver strategic and tactical plans while driving improvements in quality, efficiency and customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Customs Operations Supervisor Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage and develop existing business and relationships across nominated customer accounts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Oversee all day-to-day operational activities for assigned accounts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure effective and efficient working practices with customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage and monitor SLAs and contracts to ensure customs compliance at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide extensive reporting, including monthly customs reports.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive improvements in margins by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase profitability.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Develop and maintain long-term customer partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attend customer meetings both on and off site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with supply chain management teams where applicable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor customer volumes, revenue and profitability on a monthly basis.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate and harmonise activities between customer teams globally, including operational processes, IT tools, statistical and financial reporting, and customer service standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the development and execution of strategic customer plans.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities to sell complete solutions and concepts in collaboration with internal colleagues and management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Capitalise on sales opportunities across the wider organisation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Organise and manage activities using a project management approach.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keep internal management informed of customer activities, developments and issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work within customer and country budget targets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contribute to the development of the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience in commercial and customer service activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In-depth customs knowledge, including customs badge systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong experience within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong understanding of freight and supply chain management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In-depth knowledge of customs regimes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong working knowledge of international transportation and customs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of international market conditions, trends and business issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Awareness of financial considerations within local and international markets, including currency factors and cultural differences.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong supply chain management and logistics knowledge.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of import/export processes and the wider supply chain.</p>
