Delivery Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Swanley and the surrounding areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:30am - 5:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: £13.50 per hour (with overtime paid at time and a half)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is seeking an experienced, proactive and efficient 3.5 ton Delivery Driver to join their team in the Swanley area. This 3.5 ton Delivery Driver role will require the successful candidate to hold a full, clean UK drivers licence, have a willingness to work in the warehouse when required and to be a supportive team player.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensuring standards of the delivery vehicle – including daily Vehicle checks, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensuring faults are reported within a timely manner.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>To assist with deliveries – assisting the driver with directions, picking and packing, loading and unloading of vehicles, and ensuring that deliveries arrive in expected condition and in a timely manner.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Warehouse duties – Stock taking (when required/ for yearly stock check), day-to-day administration and manual tasks (as directed by line manager), ensuring that the warehouse is tidy and safe for yourself and your colleagues.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensure that the warehouse and trade counter support sales in achieving product sales / and market share in accordance with company objectives.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Acquire and demonstrate the necessary selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of company policy to work effectively.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Provide assistance and motivation to all colleagues when required.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Work within Focus sales procedures in the branch environment.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Work with the Branch Manager to ensure that customers’ required levels of service are being met.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensure that complaints, as they affect your direct responsibility, are promptly dealt with, in a professional manner.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Maintain company property to the required standard.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Represent the company in a business-like manner and maintain a standard of dress and appearance in-keeping with the job and position within the company.</span></li>
