<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Occasional Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is a wholesale supplier of specialist building materials, looking for a practical, experienced Depot Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of its rural depot near Harlow. You will bring the yard, drivers and administration team together, keeping deliveries on track and the site running safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with the owner, you will organise people, make day-to-day decisions and resolve problems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied, hands-on role with scope to take increasing ownership of the operation.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Get involved in yard work, loading and unloading when required, maintaining safe working practices.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Coordinate the external health and safety contractor, site maintenance, facilities and utilities, including reviewing energy bills.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Clear, approachable communication skills and the ability to keep different teams working together.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A practical, proactive approach, with sound judgement and confidence making day-to-day decisions.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A willingness to work hands-on and a strong awareness of health and safety. Forklift experience is an advantage, but not essential.</span></li>
