Depot Supervisor

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are recruiting on behalf of an established business with a busy depot operation in Grangemouth. They are looking for an experienced and proactive Depot Supervisor to support the safe, efficient and compliant day-to-day running of the site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on operational role and would suit someone with experience in transport, logistics, fleet or depot operations who is comfortable working closely with drivers, vehicles and the wider operations team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll play an important part in ensuring the depot runs smoothly, resolving operational issues and making sure vehicles, drivers and routes are ready for the following day.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify, record and escalate vehicle defects and breakdowns</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure depot paperwork and compliance checks are completed accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily depot, yard and vehicle walk-around checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support daily transport planning, vehicle allocation and route changes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and issue routes to drivers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver toolbox talks and operational updates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use transport management, telematics and route planning systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete depot audits, gate checks and scheduled vehicle inspections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Produce and maintain driver, vehicle and fleet performance reports</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate with external vehicle, tyre and maintenance providers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide cover for other members of the depot management team when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet management or depot operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally, you'll have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with transport management, telematics or route planning systems would be advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An HGV licence would be a strong advantage, particularly as there may occasionally be a requirement to move vehicles to and from external service providers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum</p>
