<p class="text-muted mb-3">Westray Recruitment Group is recruiting 15 to 20 reliable and safety-conscious drivers to support the arrival of large car vessels carrying brand-new vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a unique opportunity to work within a busy port environment, driving brand-new cars from the vessel and parking them safely in designated bays.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Please be aware that this is not consistent, full-time employment. On average, successful candidates can expect approximately two 12-hour shifts every 10 days. Work is dependent on vessel arrivals, and shift dates, times and availability may change at short notice.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The first vessel is currently expected to arrive on 10th August 2026; however, vessel schedules are subject to change.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Port Vehicle Movement Driver, you will board the vessel and carefully drive brand-new vehicles to allocated parking areas within the port.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As all vehicles are new, the highest standards of care, cleanliness and professionalism must be maintained. Full PPE must be worn, and all procedures must be followed to protect both employees and the vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Boarding the car vessel safely and following all port and vessel procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving brand-new vehicles from the vessel to designated parking bays</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manoeuvring and parking vehicles carefully, accurately and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following instructions from supervisors, banksmen and the vessel operations team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene when entering and operating vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Wearing all required PPE correctly throughout each shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conducting basic visual checks and reporting any damage or concerns immediately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling vehicle keys in line with agreed procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Potentially driving a minibus carrying up to eight passengers between operational areas</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the safe and efficient unloading of each vessel</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Applicants must:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be at least 21 years old</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hold a full UK driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have held their licence for a minimum of one year</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have no more than six penalty points</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be comfortable potentially driving a minibus carrying up to eight passengers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are dependable and flexible</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are comfortable with temporary, intermittent work rather than guaranteed full-time hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have a careful and responsible approach to driving</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Can follow detailed instructions and strict procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take pride in maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are comfortable working aboard a vessel and within a busy port environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Can complete 12-hour shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Can work safely and efficiently as part of a large operational team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understand that working dates may change in line with vessel schedules</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete and pass a drug and alcohol test before starting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide their full UK driving licence for verification</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attend the required site induction</p>
