<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are you an experienced HGV1 driver with a passion for mentoring and safety?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for a highly skilled LGV Driver Trainer to join our dedicated team based at our Trafford Park, Manchester depot. In this vital role, you will work closely with the Driver Administrator to deliver exceptional driver training and play a key part in fulfilling our commitment to Driver CPC under our JAUPT-approved training scheme.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role demands flexibility to coordinate seamlessly with driver workloads. You will deliver both one-on-one "on the road" coaching and interactive, classroom-based courses for larger groups.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">On-the-Road Assessments: Assess drivers and provide practical, in-cab instruction to ensure the continuous adoption of best practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Core Skills Coaching: Train drivers in defensive driving techniques, fuel economy optimization, and the correct, safe use of vehicles and trailers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Classroom Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging classroom-based courses for larger groups, specifically focusing on our JAUPT-approved Driver CPC curriculum.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Compliance & Reporting: Complete detailed, confidential electronic training reports.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operational Knowledge: Utilize your working knowledge of container transport and distribution operations to deliver highly relevant, industry-specific training.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We Are Looking For:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience: Proven history as a highly experienced HGV1 (Class 1) driver. Previous experience in a driver trainer or instructional role is a distinct advantage.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Industry Knowledge: Solid, practical understanding of container transport and distribution operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. You must be able to clearly assess a driver's needs, give constructive feedback, and build trust.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">IT Literacy: Tech-savvy enough to handle electronic reporting platforms comfortably (training on specific in-house software will be provided).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility: A flexible approach to working hours to align with varied driver shift patterns and operational workloads.</p>
