Warehouse Operative

Location: Greenfield, OL3

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Holiday: 31 days per year, including bank holidays

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team based in Greenfield.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, has good attention to detail and enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment.

You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately, goods are handled safely and stock is kept organised.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Assembling and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch.

Loading and unloading containers, including handling yarn bales weighing up to 50kg.

Carrying out quality checks and assisting with stock control.

Undertaking light assembly of goods.

Supporting internal logistics and the movement of goods around the warehouse.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, hardworking and well organised.

Has excellent attention to detail.

Can work independently and manage their workload effectively.

Is comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment.

Is physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting heavy items where required.

Has previous warehouse experience (desirable, but not essential).A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are just as important as previous experience.

Working Hours

40 hours per week:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:50pm

Friday: 8:00am - 4:40pmPay and Benefits

£12.71 per hour.

31 days' annual holiday, including bank holidays.
