Your new role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in a thriving consultancy. Based in their new city centre office, you'll contribute to high-impact projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help shape the future of sustainable building design.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and consultancy work, including system design, specifications, calculations, schedules and client reporting.

Represent the business in client and design team meetings, both internally and externally.

Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to project planning and workload management.

Ensure quality and compliance with ISO standards, CDM legislation and internal audit processes.

Stay up to date with industry developments and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards.What you'll need to succeed

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Building Services discipline is preferred.

Minimum 3 years' experience in building services consultancy.

The role is open to both Intermediate and Senior level Electrical Engineers.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit.

Experience designing electrical building services systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and associated low-voltage systems.

Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated, ambitious and collaborative team player.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
