FLT Counterbalance operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're recruiting a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy operation in Sheldon/Yardley.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity for someone confident on a counterbalance truck who takes pride in safe, accurate handling to minimise damage to stock and equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay rate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·£12.71 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift pattern</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·4:00pm - 12:00am (midnight)</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, store and pick stock safely and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Loading containers correctly to maximise space and ensure secure, compliant loads</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Working accurately to reduce risk of damage to stock, racking and equipment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Supporting general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we're looking for</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Minimum 12 months' counterbalance forklift experience (essential)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Experience using long fork attachments (highly desirable)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Good understanding of container loading / space optimisation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">·Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a PM shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Please note this role is 70% Forklift, 30% general warehouse helping with wrapping and preparing parcels for dispatch, keeping areas tidy etc</p>
