FLT Driver (Reach)

<p class="text-muted mb-3">My client in the BD4 area of Bardford are looking for an experienced FLT Driver - Reach and Counterbalance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating reach trucks safely, and supporting overall warehouse operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage stock levels using the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support with general warehouse duties such as organising stock and maintaining a clean work environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment when necessary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Apply basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and recording quantities accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualifications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">2 year proven experience operating reach trucks or similar forklift equipment in a warehouse setting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Basic mathematical skills for counting, weighing, and recording data accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team</p>
