FLT/Van Driver

Overview

IRS group (IRS) currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Van Driver to join a busy manufacturing environment in Dudley.

This is a 50/50 role , with approximately half of your time spent operating an FLT and the other half driving a company van for deliveries and collections.

Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry is preferred .

Key Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT safely around the site.
• Loading and unloading goods and materials.
• Driving a company van for deliveries and collections.
• Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas.
• Supporting the wider team when required.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Completing basic delivery and stock paperwork.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid FLT licence/certificate .
• Hold a full UK driving licence .
• Have previous FLT and van driving experience.
• Ideally have experience within food manufacturing .
• Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment .
• Be hands-on and willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed .
• Have a strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Be punctual and dependable.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys being kept busy. You will split your time between FLT operation, van driving and supporting the wider team to keep the operation running smoothly.

Pay: 12.71 per hour | Full-time | Dudley
