<p class="text-muted mb-3">Aspired Talent are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our busy warehouse and logistics operation in Preston, PR5.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for stable Monday-to-Friday night work, regular hours and the opportunity to earn overtime.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving stock, materials and goods around the site while ensuring all warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements are followed.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your main duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and yard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving pallets and materials to the correct storage or loading areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transporting stock around the warehouse using the forklift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting with the loading and preparation of customer orders and deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking goods and pallets for damage before moving or loading them.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the warehouse team with general warehouse duties when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keeping loading, unloading and working areas clean, organised and free from hazards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting any faults or defects immediately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following site traffic management procedures and designated forklift routes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working safely around pedestrians, other vehicles and warehouse equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following company procedures for manual handling, loading and unloading.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring all goods are handled carefully to minimise damage.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of a team to ensure warehouse targets and deadlines are achieved.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all company health & safety, security and operational procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting any accidents, incidents, near misses or damaged stock to the relevant supervisor.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out any other reasonable warehouse duties as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">5:00pm – 3:00am</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role is based on a night shift, so applicants must be comfortable working these hours on a consistent basis.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay & Benefits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£13.33 per hour basic rate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£14.88 per hour overtime rate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£17 shift allowance for a no-accident shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday working pattern</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Regular night shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good forklift operating skills and a strong awareness of workplace safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience loading and unloading vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail when handling stock and pallets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A reliable and hardworking attitude</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good timekeeping and attendance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work the full 5:00pm – 3:00am shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Forklift experience is essential for this position</p>
