Project Manager – M&E

Fareham, Hampshire | £65,000 + Company Vehicle

We're recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join an established M&E contractor based in Fareham, overseeing projects across the UK.

This role would suit someone with a strong mechanical and electrical project management background, ideally with a civil engineering bias. You'll manage multiple projects from start to finish, taking responsibility for programmes, budgets, site teams, health and safety, and client relationships.

The Role

• Manage multiple M&E projects from start to completion.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, resources and quality.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and project staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project finances, invoicing and variations.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all projects.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve issues.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Support estimating, tendering and site surveys when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing projects within the M&E or building services sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation works.
• Experience managing project teams, subcontractors, budgets and programmes.
• Good commercial awareness, including cost control and variations.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Civil engineering experience and EUSR registration would be advantageous.

The Package

• £65,000, depending on experience.
• Company vehicle.
• UK-wide project work with travel required.

Location: Based within approximately two hours of Fareham, excluding London.
