<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: From £29,800 per annum, depending on experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift: Hours worked between 6:30am and 4:30pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime: Saturday mornings, 5:00am–11:00am, approximately once per month</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy transport and warehouse operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role based across the transport yard and warehouse, supporting daily distribution and pallet operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for safely moving pallets, loading and unloading vehicles, and ensuring goods are correctly scanned, labelled and allocated for delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced transport or warehouse environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving pallets and goods between the warehouse, yard and vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring pallets are correctly scanned and labelled.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Allocating pallets to the correct vehicles for delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identifying and escalating any discrepancies or issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the wider transport and warehouse team with day-to-day operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all company health and safety procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers, depots and other stakeholders.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using relevant warehouse/transport systems and Microsoft Office packages.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the Transport Manager and Shift Supervisors as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working flexibly across the operation and assisting with other duties when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for someone who is:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experienced in a warehouse, transport, logistics or distribution environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally in possession of a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experienced in loading and unloading vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable handling pallets and working in a busy warehouse/yard environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good communicator who works well with colleagues and customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A team player with a positive and flexible approach.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Enthusiastic and willing to learn new systems and processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable using basic computer systems and technology.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within a transport or pallet network environment would be advantageous but is not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">45 hours per week.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.</p>
