<p class="text-muted mb-3">DSV are looking for a pro-active, positive and customer-focused Cross Trade & Dedicated Transport Operator to join our International Operations Team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied role that provides operational support across our Cross Trade and Dedicated Transport activities, helping to ensure continuity during annual leave, absence cover, peak trading periods, and increased workload volumes. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, building strong customer relationships, and taking ownership of shipments from quotation through to successful delivery. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operations </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage part load and full load cross-trade shipments across Europe, alongside dedicated transport and van movements. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Accept and process customer bookings accurately and efficiently. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor shipments proactively and manage exceptions through to resolution. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate and build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure PODs, IODs, invoices, and supplier costs are completed accurately and within required timelines.   </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Customer Service </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver outstanding customer service through proactive communication. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide event updates throughout the shipment lifecycle, including: </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Collection confirmations </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In-transit updates </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivery updates </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delay notifications </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage customer queries and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.   </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Quoting & Commercial Support </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and provide quotations in line with customer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support customs processes to ensure shipments move compliantly and efficiently. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with customers and service providers to obtain required documentation. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure operational and customs records are maintained accurately.   </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Team Support </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide cover for annual leave, sickness absence, and peak workload periods across the team. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues when operational demands require it. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contribute positively to team success and operational performance.   </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and changing workload. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication and customer service skills. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working with European transport operations is desirable. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of customs processes would be advantageous. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good IT skills and experience using transport management systems. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">High attention to detail and strong administrative skills.   </p>
