General Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We require a General Operative to join our busy Warehousing team at our Wrexham Warehouse facility. The purpose of the role is to support the Warehouse team in maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of housekeeping across warehouse, production, and external work areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keep storage, packing, dispatch, and operational areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Break down and dispose of cardboard, packaging, and waste materials in line with company procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Palletise materials and products safely, ensuring work areas remain tidy and organised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Move materials, stock, and equipment between locations as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support general warehouse and operational activities to maintain an efficient workflow.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out cleaning duties using appropriate equipment and methods.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support recycling and waste management activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify and report housekeeping, safety, or maintenance issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain safe pedestrian walkways, storage areas, and workstations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide flexible support across the site to meet operational</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Any other duties deemed necessary by management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maximize efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Physically able to load and unload consignment. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Relevant experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work well as part of a team and under direction</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keen eye for detail to ensure any imperfections are noticed</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good level of English to understand instructions and follow health & safety procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent organisational skills </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Current DBS Vetting Check</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">??Desirable </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Competent in the use of IT Microsoft Office</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent at C Grade or above (or significant work experience)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of using IT Stock systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Forklift/Telehandler Licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of working a similar operation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with the warehousing of similar products.</p>
