Your day-to-day role

As a Graduate SEN TA , you'll work closely with teachers and school staff to provide tailored support that helps pupils engage with learning and develop their confidence.

Your responsibilities could include:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting with lessons, interventions and classroom activities
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
• Developing positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN professionals
• Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment

What we're looking for

The successful Graduate SEN TA will ideally have:

• A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology or a related subject
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm and a flexible approach
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally
• An interest in pursuing a career in education, psychology or SEN
