HGV 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main Job Objective</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team. This role involves the delivery and collection of air freight to and from airports and customer locations across the UK.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who enjoy working independently and delivering a high standard of service.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver and collect air freight from UK-wide airports and customer sites.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with all legal</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load and unload cargo when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and collections.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comply with tachograph regulations, road traffic laws, and company procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum 2 years' LGV driving experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 penalty points (IN and DR endorsements will not be accepted).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Professional appearance and positive attitude.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full 5-year employment history with no gaps exceeding 28 days.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Enhanced background checks, including CRB clearance, will be required. Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within the air cargo/aviation industry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Cargo Operative Aviation Certificate (training can be provided if required).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience operating roller-bed, refrigerated (fridge), and curtain-side trailers. What We Offer</p>
