HGV Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be required to drive and operate vehicles and plant to the greatest profitability and efficiency to deliver the Bio Recycling service within Thames Water sites and to external locations. To enter deliveries into the cake logging system as appropriate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Within this role,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be safely operating vehicles associated with Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations, working collaboratively with other Thames Water employees across our sites to aid the efficient delivery of Bio Recycling’s activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Biosolids Class 1 Driver Job Details</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">38.5 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This position is based in the Crossness Area (East London) or Iver Area (West London)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full training and an excellent wider benefits package.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Offering £38,842 per annum.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What should you bring to the role?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A front-end Loader licence holder would be beneficial.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in tipping lorries will be beneficial.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have a working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.</p>
