HGV Class 1 Driver Alrewas - Burton on Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts
Minimum pay: 10 hours guaranteed per shift
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunity

Romax Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our award-winning client based in Harefield.

The role

• Deliver aggregates using a Class 1 flatbed or curtainside vehicle.
• Ensure loads are securely fastened using ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow drivers hours, tachograph rules and site safety procedures.
• No loading or unloading required.

Pay and benefits

• Guaranteed minimum of 10 hours pay per shift.
• Weekly pay, every Friday.
• Temporary to permanent opportunity.
• On-site parking.

Requirements

• A valid HGV Class 1 licence with Category C+E entitlement.
• At least one years Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph driver card.
• Confidence securing loads with ratchet straps.
• Your own safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Right to work in the UK.
