<p class="text-muted mb-3">SRG Recruitment Ltd are seeking experienced Class 1 / C+E / LGV1 / HGV1 Drivers for both day and night driving work with a well-known haulier based in Portsmouth.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client can offer year-round work for the right candidates, with a variety of shifts available across days, nights and weekends.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will mainly involve refrigerated / fridge work, delivering palletised and caged goods. Drivers with experience in curtain-side, tautliner, general haulage, trunking, multidrop and distribution work are also encouraged to apply.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">THE ROLE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving HGV Class 1 / C+E / LGV1 / HGV1 vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Day and night driving positions available</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Refrigerated / fridge trailer work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivering palletised and caged goods</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Multidrop deliveries and collections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Trunking and depot-to-depot work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Curtain-side / curtainsider and tautliner work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading goods</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Securing loads correctly and safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing delivery paperwork and using PDA systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working to delivery schedules and planned routes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and WTD regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Customer-facing deliveries and professional communication</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working safely and efficiently across local, regional and national routes</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">REQUIREMENTS</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full HGV Class 1 / C+E / LGV1 licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven UK Class 1 HGV driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with refrigerated / fridge work preferred</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Multidrop and delivery experience advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Curtain-side / tautliner experience advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and WTD</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No DD, DR, DG or IN endorsement codes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good geographical knowledge and route-planning awareness</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working both independently and as part of a transport team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">SHIFTS & RATES</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Various day and night shifts are available, including weekend work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Umbrella Rates:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days: £19 per hour Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Nights: £20 per hour Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Saturday: £21 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Sunday: £22 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Guaranteed 10 hours per shift Monday to Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">PAYE rates available on request</p>
