HGV Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which operates refrigerated vehicles, delivering and collecting from RDCs across the UK.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a well-established client based in Teynham.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Consolidated pay rates £21.96 - £30.00 per hour.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">On going adhoc work is available.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your Time at Work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As an HGV Class 1 Driver your duties include:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our Perfect Worker</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our perfect worker should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC & Tacho cards. A maximum of 6 points on the licence (no DR, DD, IN, or TT offences).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in a similar role is required.</p>
