HGV Class 2 ADR Driver

This permanent HGV Class 2 ADR Driver position, based in Thame, involves multi-drop cylinder delivery for a leading UK gas supplier. Working Monday to Friday with 06:00-07:00 starts across 46 hours weekly, the driver completes roughly 15-20 drops daily, transporting gas cylinders to customers while strictly following health and safety procedures.

• Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Drivers to work for one of the most prestigious Gas companies in the UK.
• Driving and transport

Key Duties

• Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client
• Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers
• Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of vehicle allocated
• Where necessary, operate specialist equipment such as forklift trucks and cranes to load and unload vehicles (full training provided)
• Using safe manual handling techniques when delivering and collecting cylinders to and from customer sites
• Licence endorsements - Max 6 Points, minor offences only no CU80s
• A driver CPC is required
• ADR (Class 2 in packages)
• Excellent customer service
• Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
• Undertake a basic DBS check along with a Drug & Alcohol / medical test

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 qualification held for 2 years minimum with Multidrop experience
