Hgv Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">BCS Connect are working on behalf of a client based in Brize Norton, Oxford who is seeking Class 2 ADR Drivers/Drainage Operatives to join their team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Based from the local depot and travelling across the region, you will work alongside engineers delivering forecourt services to major oil companies and independent customers. The role involves maintaining drainage and fuel tank systems, identifying faults, and helping to deliver effective long-term solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on position involving drainage cleaning, tank maintenance and compliance works, ensuring sites operate safely and in line with Environment Agency regulations.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Work as part of a one or two-person team carrying out tankering and drainage services.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Perform drain jetting, interceptor cleaning, servicing and reactive maintenance works.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Attend emergency call-outs and respond to critical site issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Report hazards, near misses and incidents in line with company procedures.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">· Liaise professionally with customers on-site regarding ongoing works and service requirements.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Maintain vehicles, tools, equipment and PPE to a high standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Complete and submit all job documentation accurately and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Communicate with supervisors regarding work progress and improvement opportunities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Undertake any additional duties appropriate to your skills and qualifications.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualifications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Hold a valid HGV licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Reliable, professional and safety conscious.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Strong communication and teamwork skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Ideally a UKPIA license</p>
