Hgv Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on weekends.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shifts:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Weekend Day Drivers - predominately Sunday but potential for Saturdays.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Start times between 04:00am - 06:00am</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Night shift 01:00am</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Twilight shift 14:00pm</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Class 2 Twilight - £16.02 Per hour PAYE</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Lutterworth, LE17</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Full understanding of WTD legislation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Excellent communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· A safety-first mindset.</p>
