Warrington, Cheshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent weekday shifts, guaranteed minimum shift pay and ongoing work with an established logistics company. This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver or Class 2 Trunking Driver. Shifts • Monday to Friday • AM starts from 07:00 • Ongoing work available Rates of Pay • £16.00 per hour • Guaranteed minimum shift pay • Weekly pay • Holiday pay accrued separately Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: • Ongoing work with an established logistics company • Guaranteed minimum shift pay • Weekly pay • Comprehensive training programme • Supportive transport team • Long-term work opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: • Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing trunking, drop and swap deliveries • Operating curtain-sided vehicles • Securing loads using straps where required • Taking photographs to confirm successful deliveries • Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations • Reporting customer concerns promptly to management • Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts • Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance issues • Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph and road transport regulations Essential Skills As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • Minimum six months' HGV Class 2 driving experience • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid Driver CPC Card • Valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 • Strong communication and customer service skills • Good spoken and written English • Excellent timekeeping and reliability Training Provided • First-day driving assessment • Industry-related training provided • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you're an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing Monday to Friday work in Warrington, apply today or contact our recruitment team for more information.
