Monday to Friday, no weekends - with Nelsons for Cartons, part of Macfarlane Packaging

• Salary: £31,000 basic + performance bonus & company benefits
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-15:30
• Licence: Class 2 (Category C), CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Work: Palletised deliveries, mainly across the Midlands

About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 HGV Driver to join the Logistics Team at Nelsons for Cartons, part of the Macfarlane Packaging Group. This isn't traditional multi-drop: most journeys involve just one or a small number of customers, delivering palletised goods mainly across the Midlands and occasionally further afield. Earlier starts may occasionally be required.
What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering palletised goods safely, on time and to a high standard
• Loading your vehicle and making sure every load is secured correctly
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service on delivery
• Supporting the warehouse team and safe warehouse operations
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company requirements

What You'll Need

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 1 year's driving experience
• A current Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card
• A clean driving record
• Regional or general delivery experience, with a focus on safe driving and load security
• A reliable, team-focused and customer-friendly attitude
