People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Warrington, Cheshire to join our well-established client.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, paid breaks, guaranteed minimum shift pay and ongoing work with a leading logistics business.
This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.
Rates of Pay:
£17.30 per hour (standard 48 hours)
£24.89 per hour (overtime after 48 hours)
Minimum of twelve hours paid per shift
All breaks fully paid
Weekly pay
Shift Pattern:
Working five days out of seven, including some weekend working
AM shifts with start times between 01:00 and 04:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing six to seven product deliveries to stores across the UK each day
Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey
Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores
Taking photographs to document successful deliveries
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Reporting any customer concerns promptly to management
Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects where necessary
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
A minimum of six months' experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver
A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
No xrnqpay major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good spoken and written English
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Training:
First-day assessment
Two weeks of training alongside an experienced permanent team member
Industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
