Key responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly • Complete scheduled collections and deliveries • Load, secure and unload goods using curtainsider equipment • Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects • Complete delivery paperwork and follow relevant transport procedures • Maintain professional communication with customers and the transport team • Follow all road safety, legal and company requirements

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence • Current Driver CPC qualification • Valid digital tachograph card • Previous experience driving curtainsider vehicles • Good knowledge of UK roads and delivery procedures • Safe, responsible and reliable approach to driving • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
