HGV Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Nights- Sunday to Friday (Sunday's and Fridays required) - typically 23:59pm starts and occasional 03:00am start on a Sunday</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Weybridge, KT13</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent / permanent role from day one available for nights</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week – nights.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Full understanding of WTD legislation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Excellent communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· A safety-first mindset.</p>
